Beef Steak Soft Tacos

Boneless, chuck steak marinated overnight in italian salad dressing, fresh cilatnro, and chili powder; grilled over coals and served in warm tortillas.
Ingredients -
 

1/3 cup prepared Fat-Free Italian Dressing
2 tablespoons chopped Fresh Cilantro
1 tablespoon Chili Powder
2 Boneless Beef Chuck Shoulder Steaks, 3/4"inch thick
12 small Flour Tortillas, warmed

 
Preparation:
 

1. Combine fat-free Italian dressing, fresh cilantro, and chili powder in small bowl.

2. Place beefsteaks and marinade in zip-lock plastic bag.

3. Refrigerate 6-24 hours.

4. Preheat grill.

5. Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade.

6. Grill beefsteaks over direct heat on an uncovered grill, 15 to 20 minutes. Turn once.

7. Serve in warm tortillas.

 
Variations and Recipe Ideas:
Serve with shredded lettuce, salsa, chopped onions, and refried beans.

Boneless Beef Chuck Shoulder Steaks
This is a very flavorful piece of meat. However its very fatty and tough. For best results marinate the beef overnight. Skirt steak is another very flavorful but tough piece of beef that marinates and grills well for use in tacos.

Warmed Tortillas
Place tortillas in foil and place on grill to warm, or place individual tortillas directly over the coals, with a watchful eye.
