Easy, delicious and healthy turkey tacos in minutes. Seasoned ground turkey sauteed with onions and spices served in taco shells and topped with tomatoes, lettuce and cheese.
Toppings:
1 to 2 Tomatoes, chopped
2 to 3 cups Lettuce, shredded
2/3 cup Cheddar Cheese, grated
Preparation:
1. In a large saute pan, combine taco ingredients and cook 6 to 7 minutes. Turkey will no longer be pink.
2. Spoon taco mixture into taco shells.
3. Serve with toppings.

Other topping options: taco sauce, sour cream, guacamole, chopped or sliced olives and chopped onions.

Ground Turkey
Ground turkey is very lean and good for you. The toppings provide enough moister to the finished tacos, that it is ok to purchase as lean a turkey product as you wish too.

Ground Chicken and Ground Beef
Both are excellent substitutes for the ground turkey. Be sure to buy a high grade ground chicken, to insure quality, and if using beef, whatever grade you buy, be certain to drain off all fat very well.
